Inspection of industrial equipment and mechanical devices, as well as Electrical machines - when located thousands of kilometers from production, the consumer needs to know that the goods, equipment and mechanical devices are manufactured in strict accordance with contractual obligations and within the agreed time frame, in accordance with the specifications of the Order and the requirements of the Standards.
The plan and degree (depth, types) of inspection control are discussed on the basis of a production and inspection plan (ITP - inspection test plan) approved between the consumer and the manufacturer, control points of inspections are determined at all stages of production. Methods and quantity of quality control are discussed.
Separately, prior to the commencement of production of the goods, the consumer can nominate an independent inspection company IIS to verify the integrity of the declared capabilities of the Manufacturer, for example, to assess the availability of:
- Necessary equipment;
- Qualified personnel;
- Production facilities;
- Quality control and management systems, etc.
- This service is detailed separately as a Supplier Audit.
It is important to note that the costs of such an inspection will more than cover the financial losses that are likely to arise as a result of poor quality and / or delayed delivery. In addition, the consumer has the right to pass these costs onto the manufacturer. And as a rule, a conscientious manufacturer who has nothing to hide will never be against any kind of checks by the consumer in his production.
Operational reports with photographs (daily, weekly, monthly, as well as general analytical) allow the customer to see the complete picture of production almost on-line and influence the Manufacturer in case of identified deviations, promptly resolve issues on making the necessary adjustments in terms of quality and timing - i.e. e completely control the entire production and delivery process.
