In accordance with the presidential decree of January 9 of this year "On measures to implement the Investment program of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2020-2022", Uzbekneftegaz JSC is carrying out a number of works.

In particular, the Shurtan Oil and Gas Production Department is implementing an investment project to modernize three units (UPPBS-3 / 1,2,5) for the extraction of propane-butane mixture worth 49 million US dollars.

The project is aimed at increasing the volume of production of propane-butane mixture of liquefied gas by 61.0 thousand tons per year and ensuring the growing demand of domestic consumers in this type of fuel.

Within the framework of the project, 8 foreign contracts were concluded for the amount of 19.32 million dollars for the purchase of technological imported equipment manufactured at the plants of PJSC Sumy MNPO (Ukraine), JSC KMPO (Russia), LLC NIPI NG PETON (Russia) , "Endress + Hauser" (Switzerland), "Electrostandard-instrument" (Russia) and others.

Members of the Working Group, headed by the chairman of the board of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, studied the state of preparation and supply of equipment within the framework of this investment project.
